2 Firms Settle 2nd Generation Blood Factor Suits Filed By Foreign Plaintiffs
CHICAGO - Two law firms that filed so-called “second generation” lawsuits alleging that foreign plaintiffs were infected by contaminated blood-clotting factors have reached a settlement, according to the multidistrict litigation judge overseeing the litigation (In Re: Factor VII or IX Concentrate Blood Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 986, No. 93-7452, N.D. Ill., E. Div.).
