Thimerosal Warning Claims Preempted

PHILADELPHIA — A federal judge on March 28 ruled that failure to warn claims are federally preempted in a case asserting injury from thimerosal contained in immune globulin and vaccines and dismissed all claims against Glaxo-SmithKline Corp. and Wyeth Inc. (Lisa Sykes, et al. v. Glaxo-SmithKline, et al., No. 2:06-cv-01111, E.D. Pa.).
