Palm Unveils Sleeker, Lighter Palm Centro

Smart phone maker Palm Inc. unveiled the Palm Centro, skinnier and lighter than its Treo cousins. At $99 with a two-year service contract, it’s Palm’s least expensive smart phone ever. Sprint Nextel Corp. will be its exclusive carrier when the Centro hits the market in mid-October.
