8th Circuit Affirms Jury’s Take-Nothing Verdict For Owner Of Flooded Complex
ST LOUIS - The Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on March 24 affirmed a jury’s verdict to award the owner of an apartment complex damaged by flooding and mold only what its insurer had already paid it, finding that a district court did not err in instructing the jury or by admitting certain expert testimony (The Cincinnati Insurance Company v. Bluewood Inc., No. 08-1148, 8th Cir.; 2009 U.S. LEXIS 6082; See January 2008, Page 6).
