9th Circuit Affirms Insurer Entitled To Seek Reimbursement
SAN FRANCISCO - A panel of the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals affirmed June 16 in an unpublished, per curiam opinion that a health insurer was entitled to obtain reimbursement from the plaintiff’s medical providers after the plaintiff failed to pay back money after receiving payment from a separate insurance company (Joseph Cooper v. Premera Blue Cross, et al., No. 08-35535, 9th Cir.; 2009 U.S. App. LEXIS 12894; See 9/17/08, Page 24).
