Aredia / Zometa MDL Judge Denies Summary Judgment In 10 Jaw Injury Cases
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The judge in the Aredia/Zometa multidistrict litigation on Aug. 13 denied defendant Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. summary judgment on failure to warn and general causation in 10 cases but also denied the plaintiffs summary judgment barring evidence of alternative causes of their alleged injuries (In Re: Aredia and Zometa Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1760, No. 06-1760, M.D. Tenn., Nashville Div.).
