LOS ANGELES - In a ruling that was widely expected, a federal judge on April 27 upheld a $100 million award in favor of Mattel Inc. in an ongoing dispute over competing doll designs (Mattel Inc. v. MGA Entertainment Inc. et al., No. CV04-9049, C.D. Calif.; See 12/15/08, Page 20).
