Exception To Pollution Exclusions Does Not Provide Coverage, N.Y. Justice Says
NEW YORK - A sudden and accidental exception to pollution exclusions included in insurers’ policies does not act to provide coverage for an insured seeking coverage for environmental contamination claims because the contamination at issue was not sudden and accidental, but occurred over a period of years, a New York justice said Dec. 10 (OneBeacon Insurance Co., et al. v.
