High Court: CBA Can Order Arbitration Of Age Bias Claims

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A collective bargaining agreement (CBA) that clearly requires arbitration of age bias claims filed under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act is enforceable under federal law, a divided U.S. Supreme Court ruled today (14 Penn Plaza LLC, et al. v. Steven Pyett, et al., No. 07-581, U.S. Sup.).
