Jones Day Sues Motley Rice Over ‘Stolen’ Documents
CLEVELAND - The law firm defending The Sherwin-Williams Co. in various public nuisance lawsuits against the former makers of lead paint on April 3 sued Motley Rice, the private plaintiff law firm hired by the State of Rhode Island and other municipalities, claiming that the firm has obtained — and continues to possess — stolen copies of privileged material belonging to the company (The Sherwin-Williams Company v. Motley Rice LLC, No. CV09-689237, Ohio. Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Co.).
