Ohio Court Reverses Contempt Rulings, Finds Trial Court Exceeded Authority
COLUMBUS, Ohio - An Ohio appeals court on June 12 reversed a ruling in favor of a property owner who was not paid in full as part of a sale, finding that a trial court exceeded its authority when it ordered the purchaser to place payments toward the purchase of the site into escrow after a jury verdict and final judgment had been issued (Philip Meyer v.
