Parties In Listerine Case Brief Court On UCL Class, Restitution After Tobacco II

LOS ANGELES - Parties recently filed supplemental briefs on whether a putative class can bring an unfair competition law (UCL) suit against a mouthwash maker for claims that its products worked as well as flossing after In re: Tobacco II Cases ([2009] 46 Cal.4th 298) (Pfizer Inc. v. Superior Court of Los Angeles Co., Steve Galfano, No. B188106, Calif. App., 2nd Dist.).
