Texas Federal Judge Excludes Causation Expert; Methodology Violates Reliability Standard
EL PASO, Texas - U.S. Judge Philip R. Martinez of the Western District of Texas on March 11 granted a defense motion excluding a causation witness offered by two former Army radar technicians because the methodology underlying his radiation exposure calculations is unreliable (Marvin Norwood, et uxor v. Raytheon Co., et al., No. 04-127 [consolidated], W.D. Texas; See 10/20/06, Page 9).
