U.S. Supreme Court Hears Oral Argument In PCAOB Formation Challenge
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Supreme Court on Dec. 7 heard oral argument in an action brought by the Free Enterprise Fund, which contends that the formation and oversight structure of an independent administrative agency violates the U.S. Constitution (Free Enterprise Fund and Beckstead and Watts, LLP. v. Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, et al., No.08-861, U.S. Sup.).
